Åse Agneta Fältskog, born April 5 1950 is a Swedish singer, songwriter, musician, actress and member of ABBA. She achieved fame in Sweden in 1968 with her self-titled album and international fame as part of ABBA. After ABBA broke up, she released a number of albums throughout the 1980s, while also moving to the island of Ekerö and becoming more solitary. She stopped recording music for 16 years before returning in 2004 with the album My Colouring Book and released A in 2013. It became her highest charting solo album.
